AoH Training – Art of Harvesting

December 3, 2013 – December 4, 2013
10:00 am – 6:00 pm

The art of harvesting – harvesting the outcomes of quality conversations.

"The Art of Harvesting is the wise companion to the Art of Hosting good conversations."

We warmly invite you to a two-day deepening training in the art of harvesting meaningful conversations, on 3 and 4 December 2013 in Bregenz, Vorarlberg, Austria. With harvesting, we bring the processes we are hosting to a close. It helps us develop shared understanding and see the bigger picture together, as a collective. In this way, it invites us to the next level of understanding. Good harvesting also helps us develop the right formats needed at the decision-making and strategic level.

GOALS

We will discover how harvesting functions as a means of creating collective wisdom and intelligence, enabling wiser action.

We will practise harvesting and hosting as an integrated part of shorter or longer-term strategic development processes.

We will get to know different methods and applications of harvesting.

DURING OUR TIME TOGETHER, YOU WILL

Experience how we plan, design and host the harvesting process.

Learn basic skills and tools for harvesting, and how graphic facilitation and strategic illustration can be used.

Practise harvesting as an integrated part of hosting meaningful conversations.

Apply the learning experience to relevant projects and cases.

Gain a deeper understanding of the strategic and systemic impact of good harvesting.

SOME QUESTIONS WE WILL EXPLORE TOGETHER

What is harvesting?

What are the four levels of harvesting, and when are they useful?

How can we create individual and collective meaning for the conversations we host in our community?

How can harvesting support the creation of shared meaning so that we become more effective together?
