Individual Coaching & Advisory Practice
Individual coaching offers space for personal reflection and concrete orientation. It supports people in perceiving their own role more clearly, recognising possible courses of action and making more conscious decisions in challenging situations.
Advisory practice is more than external advice. It is a shared thinking process at eye level. Ursula brings her many years of experience from international institutions, public administration, companies, leadership development and participatory process design. At the same time, the individual concern remains the starting point: What is at stake right now? What really matters? What needs clarity, structure or another perspective?
Coaching for Facilitators & Process Guides
For experienced facilitators and process guides, coaching can be a valuable resonance space. Especially in demanding processes, very concrete questions often arise: Which method fits this context? How much structure does the group need? Where is the real conflict? How can participation emerge without the process becoming diffuse?
Ursula supports people who already work with groups, teams or organisations and want to deepen their practice. This is not beginner coaching, but professional advisory practice for process design, choice of methods, difficult group dynamics and one’s own stance as a host.
Coaching for Leaders & Decision-Makers
Today, leaders often stand between contradictory expectations: they are asked to provide orientation, enable participation, make decisions, shape change and, at the same time, deal with uncertainty.
Individual coaching creates space to reflect on one’s own leadership practice and prepare concrete situations: conversations with superiors, clients or employees, strategic decisions, transitions into new roles, conflicts within the team or change processes with a high degree of complexity.
This format is deliberately different from corporate training. It is not a group format or a standardised programme, but personal feedback, tailored advice and the strengthening of one’s own effectiveness.
Team Coaching & Team Practice
Team coaching enables teams to reflect more consciously on their collaboration, roles, tensions, and next steps in their development. It also supports them in designing participatory processes – both online and offline – finding the best approach for a specific event or process, discovering effective tools and strategies for new challenges, or simply deepening their practice as facilitators.
Ursula Hillbrand will be at your back as you learn and practice, bringing a fresh, experienced outside perspective to your teamwork. Together we will reflect on and find the best solution even for delicate situations.
Ursula Hillbrand offers tailor-made consulting to prepare you for demanding situations, such as: meetings with superiors or clients and resolving challenges within teams. What questions need clarifying? Where are the tensions or misunderstandings? What unspoken expectations might be influencing the team? What does the team need to regain its effectiveness?
Team advisory practice can be provided on an ad-hoc basis, such as in preparation for a critical step, or as ongoing support during a change process. Depending on the context, it may incorporate dialogic methods, systemic questioning, elements of Art of Hosting, Story Harvesting, or process design.
Mentoring & Advisory Support
Ursula Hillbrand shares more than twenty years of practice in participatory leadership, Art of Hosting, process design, international collaboration and organisational development.
Mentoring is particularly suitable for people who are taking on new roles, building participatory competencies or further developing their own work as a leader, host or process guide. Unlike classic coaching, professional knowledge, experience and assessment may explicitly become part of the conversation.
Advisory support can also be designed for peers, teams or small groups. It makes it possible to reflect on concrete cases together, include different perspectives and learn from the experience of the group. In this way, a learning space emerges in which not only individuals, but also a shared practice can mature.
Systemic Coaching & Constellation Work
Many professional questions are not only personal questions. They stand within a larger context: roles, expectations, unspoken dynamics, loyalties, hierarchies, team patterns or organisational tensions all play a part.
Systemic coaching helps make these connections visible. It looks not only at the individual person, but at the whole field in which they act. This allows new perspectives to emerge, entrenched patterns to become recognisable and next steps to become clearer.
Systemic Coaching
Systemic coaching is about understanding interdependencies. What influences the situation? Which roles, relationships and expectations are involved? Where is the real lever for change?

Ursula combines systemic thinking with dialogic process facilitation and many years of leadership experience. The coaching remains practice-oriented: it supports not only understanding, but also the development of concrete options for action.
Constellation Work & Organisational Constellations
Constellation work can be helpful when complex situations are difficult to grasp. Through spatial representation, relationships, tensions and dynamics become visible that often remain hidden in purely analytical conversation. We use this method in context.

In organisational constellations, teams, roles, clients, projects, decision options or conflict fields, for example, can be viewed in relation to one another. This creates a different picture of the situation. Not as a quick solution, but as a deeper perception of what is at work in the system and where new movement may become possible.
Conflict Advisory & Difficult Conversations
Conflicts are part of every living organisation. The decisive question is whether they are avoided, escalated or understood as an indication of something essential.
Ursula Hillbrand supports difficult conversation situations, tensions in teams and conflicts in organisational contexts. Dialogic methods, systemic questions, Strategic story harvesting, elements from mediation and participatory process design may all be used.
The point is not to superficially calm conflicts; it is to restore the ability to speak with one another, make interests and needs visible and enable viable next steps. Ursula has many years of methodological experience in conflict facilitation, dialogue design and supporting demanding group processes.
Online, Hybrid or In Person – How We Work Together
Coaching and mentoring can take place online, in hybrid formats or in person. For deeper processes or longer reflection formats, an in-person meeting at the Bregenz Salon or on the client’s premises may be useful. After a first in-person consultation, video follow-ups work very well.
It begins with an initial conversation. This clarifies what the concern is, which format makes sense and whether a single advisory session, short-term support or a longer coaching process is appropriate.
Possible formats:
- Individual coaching sessions
- Regular mentoring conversations
- Advisory Practicing before important appointments
- Team coaching during change processes for small groups
- Accompanying reflection during an ongoing change process

“We asked Ursula Hillbrand to help us work with the different leadership concepts in our management teams including executives. Her diplomatic way of working accepts different styles and cultures elegantly, and still she smartly invites everyone in the room to create a shared purpose, which she was able to hold for us from the background in a sustainable way through a longer process. We also have a great experience of an away day she designed and facilitated for my staff. She has a great talent to work with the non-manifested potential of a group and make it visible.”

“Senior management teams are demanding and need a lot in a short period of time. Then it is so valuable to have a thinking partner like Ursula Hillbrand, who generously shares her wealth of knowledge and experience when preparing an assignment.
